Fun up the Canyon

This was the time we went up the canyon

and roasted marshmellows with Adam and Joann,

and Brayden got pushed in the river!

Mom to the Resque!

Okay, I decided I will write more often, even if I don't have the pictures to show right away. I will post those later, when I get them :)
Last Sunday we went up the canyon and roasted marshmellows with Adam and Joann, and their kids. (Brent's Brother) Brayden was scared at first, because there was a shooting range close by. He didn't like the loud noises of the guns. Once that was over he started to play. He and his cousin Dylan liked throwing rocks in the river. The babies played in the play pen.
The river kind of scared me, because the kids would get pretty close. Brayden was being very cautious. He bent over to pick up a rock, and Dylan pushed him in! Dylan is younger, about 8 months younger than Brayden. We were all standing pretty close, I was the closest, and I was holding Tyson at the time. I could see it happen before it happened! I got to him as soon as I could, and as he was going in I grabbed his free arm before he went all the way under! That was a close one! I can't beleive I grabbed him with one arm, as I was holding Tyson! I still don't know how I did that, I just did it. When your child's safety is at risk it just happens. I guess I have good reflexes :) We got him into dry clothes and we sat by the fire. He was freezing, but warmed up quickly. That was a crazy experience!

5 yr. Anniversary!

We have been married 5 years yesterday! 5 years later and two kids :) We were planning to go away this weekend, but every hotel was booked. We will celebrate in a couple weeks. Brent came home with a half a dozen roses! He doesn't do that very often, so that was nice. Brayden kept wanting to smell them. "mmm yummy" He would say :) We enjoyed hanging out with our little family, pizza and a movie.

Bear Lake

We went to Bear Lake for the day, Saturday July 19th. We share a cabin up there with my Dad's side of the family. My parents came with Trish, and My sister, Angela came with her kids. We had a really good time. The kids loved to play in the sand and water. We got alot of sun! Brent kept telling me I needed to put on sunscreen and that I shouldn't lay out for very long. I got perfect sun, but guess who came back burnt? Brent! Ha Ha

Brayden thinks he is so cool on his motorcyle. It was actually left from a former neighbor, who never came to pick it up! The landlord said we could have it, so all we had to buy was a $30 charger! Brayden is doing better at driving. He used to run into cars and the bushes, but now he is getting the hang of it.

with friends. This was Brayden's first campfire of the year.
