Horses and such

My Mother-in-laws horse is getting old, so she wanted us to come over and take pictures with him before they put him to sleep. He is as old as Brent, 27!

A quick funny: When Brayden was standing near the horse his eye sight was.... (well you can guess where it was) He said, "There's a pee pee in there" pointing at the horses parts. My response, " Yep, he has a pee pee too." giggle giggle giggle :)

I ran the Peach Days 10k race, two Saturdays ago, with my sister Angela. That was a hard race! There were alot of steep hills, I never trained with hills! We still ran it in 1 hour and 19 seconds. not bad, but not excellent :)

We are so close to moving into our house! We were suppose to be able to start moving in Thursday, but the sellers can't get out of the house till Friday, so we will be moving Saturday and Sunday! The nice part is that they have to rent the house from us for those 3 days, because they were suppose to be out by a certain date. It's $20 a day, so that was a fast earned 60 bucks for us!

Def Leppard!

Def Leppard was awesome! I feel like a true rocker now (even though I'm not). It was so much fun to be with Brent and rock out! The environment wasn't the best to be around, but the band sounded amazing! We liked to watch all the drunk people, it was halarious!

If you look closely in this pic, you can see Def Leppard's one armed drummer! He was so good, you would have never guessed he was only playing with one arm. Amazing huh?

(They really weren't singing that song when I was taking the pics. that is my favorite song they sing and I was rockin out when they were playing that one).

The band, Poison, started them off. Actually, Cheap Trick did, but we didn't make it in time to see them. The traffic was so bad it took us 1 hr and 45 minutes just to get there from Salt Lake! The USANNA Theatre is in West Valley. Should have only took us 20 min. to get there. I was so mad we were late, but at least we were there for the good stuff!

The next day we decided to talk a walk aroung the Temple grounds. (hey, we had to get our spiritual feelings in our trip as well) :)

Fun Stuff!

Alot of fun things going on at our place. From Brayden painting his toe nails with his friend Chloe, Rasberry days, to Finding a house!

I guess this is what happens when Brayden has girl friends. He wants to do what they want to do. As long as he knows he's still a boy, that's fine with me. Brent was telling him that painting nails was for girls. He said, "Brayden be the girl"

This is what they decided to do with the bubbles: pour them all out and bath in it! Oh boy! they were dirty kids after that.

I made a path through my in-laws Rasberry bushes so we could stand in the middle and pick, without branches scratching the crap out of our legs! Rasberry jam is now a summer tradition :)

Our Home!

Everything has fallen in to place so fast! We randomly were looking at homes and this one caught our eye: 4 bedrooms 2 baths, fully finished, beautiful big backyard, fully fenced with that nice vinyl fencing. for 150,000! What a great deal for this home. The sellers were rushed to sell and this house was only on the market 11 days. They had another offer, but they chose us! How exciting! Our offer went through, our loan went through and the appraizle is getting done Monday! If everything goes smoothly we will be moving at the end of September.

Happy Anniversary!

We have been married 6 years today! I am so grateful for Brent and what a wonderful husband and father he is. He is such a hard worker and provides so much for our family. I love you Brent! Thanks for everything :)

Crazy Day!

The morning after the crazy day! Scary huh?

It all started the day before when I was running. My bladder and crotch area hurt and burned really bad! I stopped at an elementary school and called Brent to come and get me, because I couldn't make it home. I was still a couple miles away from home and I had already ran 4. I rested most of the day and took it easy.

Yesterday morning (the crazy day) I wanted to make jam because I had picked alot of rasberries at my in-laws and needed to use them before they went bad. I was making jam all morning while my boys were all over the place and wanted to play outside. (stressful)

After I made 2 batches of jam, thanks to my neighbors, Katie and Ileah for helping me stir until the sugar disolved, I decided to clean my kitchen floor because it was a mess! Well, my boys would not stay off the floor and wanted to help. So I gave them each something to clean with, a mop and a broom. they ended up hitting eachother with them and Brayden got a little cut on his head from the mop!

Finally I decided to call the doctor, because I was hurting pretty bad. they said I needed to see a Urologist, because I have had reaccuring bladder infections.

After I was off the phone, made an appt. with the urologist, I go into the kitchen to find that my boys had pulled down the bowl full of sugar and were throwing it everywhere and eating it!

At this point I started crying. I was feeling sick, but needed to finish jam and clean my carpets! I was so overwhelmed, so I called my Mom. Brayden was all concerned that I was crying. He kept telling me that it was okay and saying "sorry mommy".

My mom came and took my boys for me so I could go to my urologist appt., finish my jam and clean carpets.

The first thing the doctor said was, "well, your urine looks like crap!" He was really cool & gave me lots of good info. I for sure had a bladder infection and also was dehydrated. They are keeping my urine to culture it to see what other bacteria is growing in it. I could have irritable bladder or just prone to have bladder infections! CRAPPY!

So after I got things done at home, my mom brought my kids back in time for bed. They would not go to sleep! I go to check on them and Brayden was in Tyson's room dumping the baby powder all over everything, the bed, the floor, his toys and the rocking chair! When I walked in it looked like it was full of smoke. They were hitting the bed and puffs of powder would come up. Are you kidding me! It never ends!

So I had to clean all that up and get the vacum out at 10:00 at night. Then the kids finally went to sleep. Tyson woke up 3 times before 2:30 am. so finally I gave him Motrin. I'm guessing he is getting his 2 year old molars already. Tyson still got up at 7am this morning! That little stinker!

Sheesh what a crazy day and night! Hopefully today is better. I just need to make sure I have my priorities straight. I need to take time to read my scriptures, say my prayers, make time for my boys and things should go some what smoothly. Everything seems to go better when I put the Lord first. I guess I needed this crazy day to realize I can't do it all, and I need to make sure I put the Lord first ALWAYS and talk to him when I need him.

Thanks for reading my spill. I'm not looking for sympathy, just needed to vent :)
