Halloween/ B-day party

The Saturday before Halloween was Tyson's 2nd B-day!!! We had a party with our family. We missed you Holly

Poor Tyson cut his chin open last week. I was ready to take him in to get stiches, but Brent said it wasn't that bad. It did stop bleeding, plus he had a well child care check up the next day, so we decided to wait. The Doc. said he could have used a couple stiches, but wasn't too concerned. It had already started to heal itself, and he said you can only get stiches up until 24 hrs after the accident. If it was on his face, other than his chin I would have took him in.

Now, we just have to make sure it stays clean and try and keep a bandaide on it. That's a joke. what 2 year old is going to keep a band aide on? So a few days later, he bumped it and broke it open again. Now we make sure he has a band aide on it and get mad at him if he takes it off. he is doing pretty good to keep it on now :)

Can you say Black Widow!

So this is what I found on our wall the other day! We looked up spiders and it looks (to us) like a Black Widow. Don't know for sure if it's a male or female, but still freaky! It has reddish/brown spots, in a line on his back. you might have to zoom in to see it. I don't know what his belly looked like, because I smashed the crap out of it with Brent's shoe. (literally) We think it got crawling around, because we sprayed the furnice room and storage space under the stairs. I so hope we don't have any more.

I posted more pics on my halloween slide show. We had a fun Halloween/B-day party with Brayden and Tyson's friends at our house last Saturday. The kids had alot of fun playing the games: Pin the nose on the Witch, and donuts on a string.

I can't believe my baby is going to be 2!

It's never too early to celebrate Halloween! I did feel kinda funny driving to Brigham City dressed up as a cat though :) We had a Halloween party with my side of the family yesterday; it was alot of fun!

Fall Harvest

We have (or had) a garden and we didn't even plant it!

The people that lived in our house before, planted all kinds of tomatoe plants, yellow cucumbers (which I think they're called Lemon Cucumbers) and green peppers. We have been enjoying them. As you can see, the boys have enjoyed them too! :)

Pokies

Does anyone know what kind of pokey weeds these are?

Every time my kids go out and play they come back with these all over their clothes! It's very annoying because they take forever to pick off and they don't come out in the wash. How do I get them out? Hopefully they are dying and I will remember to spray for weeds in the spring. Is it too late to spray now?

Any suggestions would be helpful! :)

My Mother-in-laws horse is getting old, so she wanted us to come over and take pictures with him before they put him to sleep. He is as old as Brent, 27!

A quick funny: When Brayden was standing near the horse his eye sight was.... (well you can guess where it was) He said, "There's a pee pee in there" pointing at the horses parts. My response, " Yep, he has a pee pee too." giggle giggle giggle :)

I ran the Peach Days 10k race, two Saturdays ago, with my sister Angela. That was a hard race! There were alot of steep hills, I never trained with hills! We still ran it in 1 hour and 19 seconds. not bad, but not excellent :)

We are so close to moving into our house! We were suppose to be able to start moving in Thursday, but the sellers can't get out of the house till Friday, so we will be moving Saturday and Sunday! The nice part is that they have to rent the house from us for those 3 days, because they were suppose to be out by a certain date. It's $20 a day, so that was a fast earned 60 bucks for us!

So I was just thinking I should have put this on a slide show! I'm a dork (guess I haven't done a slide for a while)

Def Leppard!

Def Leppard was awesome! I feel like a true rocker now (even though I'm not). It was so much fun to be with Brent and rock out! The environment wasn't the best to be around, but the band sounded amazing! We liked to watch all the drunk people, it was halarious!

If you look closely in this pic, you can see Def Leppard's one armed drummer! He was so good, you would have never guessed he was only playing with one arm. Amazing huh?

(They really weren't singing that song when I was taking the pics. that is my favorite song they sing and I was rockin out when they were playing that one).

The band, Poison, started them off. Actually, Cheap Trick did, but we didn't make it in time to see them. The traffic was so bad it took us 1 hr and 45 minutes just to get there from Salt Lake! The USANNA Theatre is in West Valley. Should have only took us 20 min. to get there. I was so mad we were late, but at least we were there for the good stuff!
