Happy V-Day!

This is a fun game the kids at my work played today. They got a handful of conversation hearts and had to make 5 sentences using the words on the hearts. I decided to play too :) Here are my 5 sentences: (I wrote them to Brent)
1. Hey, I'm your "Foxy Lady!"
2. Do you want to go out, my sweet "Cup Cakes?"
3. "Me + U", together forever!
4. "UR 4 me", my honey bunches.
5. You are "Very Fine" my grape divine.
Here is a quick poem I remember when I was younger:
A peach is a peach,
a plum is a plum,
a kiss isn't a kiss without some tongue.
So open your mouth and close your eyes,
and give your tongue some excersize!
Ha, Ha, Ha! Hope you all have a wonderful Valentines Day!

Hair Cuts!
I finally decied to cut my kids' hair. I was trying to go for the shaggy look, but I couldn't stand it any more. I just like my kids' hair shorter and I love to spike it.
Before hair cuts
After hair cuts. (Tyson was so ready for bed)!
Fighting in the moment! Tyson is always so sick of Brayden picking on him so he is taking his turn to get back at him. It's sad that he learns how to hit, at such a young age, from his older brother!

25 Things You May or May not Know About Me!
This is a fun tag to do, if you want to know more about your friends and you want them to know more about you :) I did this on Facebook, but I know you all don't have Facebook, so I thought it would be fun to blog it:
1. I was on the Ballroom Dance Team at Snow College.
2. I love to sing! I was in choirs in middle school, high school and even college. I am in the ward choir now :) My favorite is to sing in the car. I even sing the commercials.
3. I was in the musical, "The Music Man" in high school. I was part of the chorus, but I did have one line. Before we sang The Wells Fargo Wagon I ran onto the scene and said "The Wells Fargo Wagon, it's coming!"
4. I squeek sometimes when I talk. I sound like a boy going through puberty! My voice lesson teacher in high school told me to get my vocal cords checked, because my voice would also get tired fast from singing. The throat specialist stuck a camera down there and then I had to sing to see how my vocal cords moved. One vocal cord is bigger than the other! The smaller one works harder, which makes my voice get tired faster. Then when I squeek, one vocal cord slaps against the other. Weird huh?
5. My dads' nick name for me when I was younger was, "squeeker." My moms' was, "care bear."
6. I had the habbit of bitting my nails when I was young to the point they would bleed! Now, I have the habbit of chewing on them when I'm stressed.
7. I seriously can't type the correct way. I look down at the keyboard and use my index fingers and middle fingers. I can actually type pretty fast this way. I used to get head aches when I was done writing a paper, from looking at the key board the whole time!
8. I have anxiety. I take Zoloft to help me chill. I mostly get it when I feel like I have too much to do, and when I'm feeling stressed. When I feel like I have a lot to do, I sit and think about it for a long time and chew on my nails. By the time I get going, I could have gotten a few things done by then!
9. I worry about what people think of me, and stress over little things. My husband always reminds me that it doesn't matter!
10. I can burp like a man! I get embarrassed when my husband tells people I can burp better than them. Ladies aren't suppose to burp like that! It's fun though :)
11. I can do the worm. If you don't know what that is, it's like a break dancing move. It's awesome!
12. I used to hang out with the homies when I lived in West Jordan. Some of the kids I "went out with" were: Jose, Anoulack and Oscar. The main reason why my parents moved here, was to get us away from the friends we were hanging out with, plus they wanted to live in a smaller town :) I did have good neighborhood friends though. I love you guys!
13. I am very clumsy, especially when I am in a hurry. The other week I was taking Brayden's oatmeal to him. It slipped out of my hands and went all over the floor and carpet! I didn't even trip on anything. What the crap!
14. I have worked with people with disabilities my whole life, starting with one of my sisters. I am a special ed. aide now.
15. I make Rasberry jam every summer. My in-laws have a huge Rasberry patch in their yard.
16. I cut my husband and kids' hair. (just with the clippers, but I think I do a good job :)
17. Me and my sister Alisha used to fight so much when we were kids. I have scars all over my hands from her scratching me. She has a few scars herself (not from my nails, because I didn't have any!) When we were in middle school and high school we would hit eachother with hair dryers and curling irons. If I got into the shower before her she would literally pull me out and push me out in the hall and lock the door! Brat! We are best friends now :) Funny how that works!
18. I still get so excited about the holidays. I can't sleep the night before Christmas!
19. I make up the weirdest words, and I add them in when I talk. My newest word is anabolistic. I was referring to my kids when I said this, because they drive me nuts, so they are being anabolistic! Definition: acting like animals! When I was young I used to call people "Dinglehoppers."
20. I failed my first drivers test. I had to take it again at the DMV on a stick shift, but I passed!
21. When Brent is at work, sometimes I turn on the radio really loud and dance and sing to the music. My kids think it's fun :) I try not to hurt myself.
22. I have had back and neck pain for about 3 1/2 yrs. I have 3 bulging discs in my neck and I get muscle spasms in my back. It is so annoying! I take muscle relaxants every now and again and I had an injection in my neck to help with the pain. Fun stuff!
23. I am very gulable. I believe anything anyone tells me. People tease me all the time.
24. It takes me a while to get jokes. People have to explain them to me and by then it's not that funny anymore. Or once I get a joke, like the next day, I will start laughing.
25. I have been arrested before, and seriously I did nothing wrong! I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time!
I know people will ask, so here is a quick run down about me getting arrested: Me and my friend Kristin went to a party in high school that wasn't so good. There were kids that were underage drinking. We did nothing bad, we just laughed at them. We also were thinking "we shouldn't be here!" All of a sudden the cops showed up and everyone started running! We were scared so we ran too. We hid under a neighbors deck and started singing primary songs. Finally we decided to turn our selves in, because the cops would not leave and it was freazing out side! As soon as they saw us they arrested us with zip ties and took us into the cabin were the party was. There was a couple others that got caught too. We had already been crying under the deck and when we got arrested we kept saying through tears, "we didn't do anything wrong!" We even had to take breath alizer tests. (of course they were negative) We found out later that the kid that had the party, stole the keys to the cabin from his dad! So we got charged with breaking and entering and had to do 30 hrs. of community service. We were at the wrong place at the wrong time! Made funny memories though :)
26. I missed one: I have had my belly button pierced before. I got it when I was a Senior in High School and took it out when I was like 5 months prego with Brayden! I had it for like 3 yrs.
I tag anyone who wants to play. Go!

Happy New Year!
It has been a busy, crazy past couple of weeks! We had a pretty good holiday season. We spent Christmas Eve and New Years Eve at Brent's parents house. Ate lots of good food and attempted to play games. It's always an adventure with kids around. We have to stop every minute to take care of them.
Christmas day we enjoyed being home and playing with the kids and their new toys. Brayden got a basketball hoop and loves it. We also got Tyson a small one. I finally got a digital camera that I have wanted for a long time! I just have to figure out how to use it better, and get the pictures on here.
The day after Christmas we spent it with my parents and family. We got to go sledding, but it was still really powdery because of the storm the day before. We got alot of snow in our face! The kids were done just after one small hill, so we took them back to the house while the grown ups went to the big hills. We only went down a couple times, it was a major workout just to get to the top. I will post more pics once I figure out how to get them on here from my camera :)
Tyson and Brayden enjoying the reindeer at grandma's
Tyson and his cousin Jake
Cute kids, walking around together!
I love this pic of Brayden having fun with the leaves. He turned 3 Dec. 19th! Happy B-day Brayd!
I'm a big boy now!
Chug! Chug! Chug! No, there was nothing in it, he was just enjoying the last drips :)
So sleepy
The last ride before the snow fell.Lastly, I just wanted to let everyone know that I finally decided to get an MRI done. I hate talking about myself, so I don't very often. Some of you know I have had back and neck problems for a while. I've tried a Chiropractor for 6 months. My x-rays show that my spine is a little curved and my neck is straight, it doesn't have the natural curve, which puts alot of pressure on the base of my neck. I went to back specialists and physical therapy. I kept doing the excersizes and streches, but nothing seemed to help. The back specialist said the next step was to get an MRI. I did that a couple days before Christmas. the MRI showed that I have 3 bulging discs in my neck, which didn't show in my x-rays. So then I got an epidural injection in my neck to help with the pain. I did that the last day of December, so hopefully our insurance will cover most of it. Fun huh? I just can't beleive I have problems so young, it sucks but what else can I do? I also have muscle spasms in my back that pinch all the time. I have been trying muscle relaxants at night and they seem to help. I just have to deal with it and do my best to stay healthy. I just have to think other people have it way worse! I guess we all have our trials in life and this is one of mine. I just hate it that my back and neck hurts with daily activities like changing a diaper, cleaning, housework, srapbooking and even being on this computer for a long time, and most of all being pregnant. It kills when I'm pregnant. Thank goodness I don't have to worry about that for a couple years!
One more thing, I got a new calling in my ward. I am the new Enrichment leader. the lady that got released was amazing! She always made Enrichment night so great. I know I won't be able to do as good as job as she has done, but I will do my best. Thanks Kim for all you have done! you will be getting plenty of phone calls from me for help. Hope you all had wonderful holidays!

Okay, so these pictures aren't the best pics of Santa and the boys, but it's what I have for now :) This was at our ward Christmas party last Friday.

Family Update
Hello friends and family! Here's a little bit about us and what we've been up to:
Brent, works at RR Donnelley, a printing press company. He has been there for about 6 yrs. He runs the machines there. He doesn't absolutely love it, but it pays the bills :) He is busy working 12 hr. shifts, graveyard, but will be switching to 8 hr. shifts next year. He will still be on a graveyard shift, but hopefully he will get more sleep! He also watches the kids in the morning while I go to work. He is a very supportive husband and father, and I love him so much!
He loves to play basketball, and is looking forward to church ball when he can play more.
Kara, works part-time at Spring Creek, as a special ed. aide. This is my 5th yr. here, and I absolutely love it! I enjoy seeing the student's progress over the school year, and it is so fun to get to know them :) I also am very busy with two little boys, and try to keep up with church callings, blogging, scrapbooking and the daily chores and errands. I am on the Enrichment committee, and in charge of Activity Days with the 8-12 yr. old girls in my ward. I also love to read, and wish I had more time to do so.
Brayden, is turning 3 in less than a week! He learned to be potty trained this year, and is now sleeping without a pull-up! He kept waking up dry for 3 weeks straight, so we decided to go for it, and he is doing really well. Only one accident, in the past two weeks. He knows all his letters and is still learning colors and shapes. He loves the t.v shows: Super Why, Word World, Clifford and Curious George, and now he can't get enough of Thomas the Train. He loves playing computer games on PBS Kids, and would all day if I let him.
Tyson, is just over a yr. old and is walking around! He says a few words: momma, dadda, no, uh oh, please and thank you. He loves to mimic sounds and loves music. If he hears any on the t.v. or radio he will start swaying back and forth. He will even dance to the commercials :) He loves his brother and wants to be wherever he is. He is such a sweet little boy and is growing so fast!
We hope you all have a wonderful holiday season. Merry Christmas and have a very happy new year!

Birthday Weekend!
I officially turned 25 on Saturday! I know, I'm old. A quarter of a century! (When I put it like that, I sound really old.) I had a pretty good day. Friday, I went out with some work friends for lunch at Village Inn and got free pie. Yummy!
Saturday I worked at Sports Academy in the morning, then we got my parents to watch the kids later. We did the traditional dinner and a movie. We were going to eat at Hamiltons, but it was a 2 hr. wait, so we ate at Wingers. Then we went to the movie "Momma Mia" Brent told me I could choose, and I was thinking Twilight, but knew Brent wouldn't have liked it. I had no idea he would hate Momma Mia. He has seen musicals before and hasn't minded them, but this one, of course, was different. He even told me he would have rather seen Twilight! He said he liked Moulin Rouge much better than Momma Mia, and he didn't even like Moulin Rouge! I loved the music, but the movie wasn't that great. Owell, it was fun anyway, being together and laughing about how dumb the movie was throughout it.
