1. Did you date someone from your school? The only one I can think of that was semi-serious was, Zac King
2. What kind of car did you drive? 1974 Ford truck (light blue), but mostly I rode around with my friend Kristin Peterson :)
3. Did you pass your drivers test the first time? Nope, my teacher had to slam on his brake! oops... how embarrassing, especially when there were other kids in the car.
4. Were you a party animal? Everyone's opinion of a party animal is different, so I would consider myself as a "good" party animal, but sometimes hung around with the not so good party animals :)
5. Were you considered a flirt? Kind of, I was a little shy, but when I felt confident I would strut my stuff and act silly around the boys.
6. Were you in Band, Orchestra or Choir? yes, Choir. I love to sing! I was also in the musical, "The Music Man"
7. Were you considered a nerd? I don't think so

16. If you could go back and do it again would you? in a way, yes, but overall no!
17. What do you remember most about graduation? I remember sitting by the kid I was dating, (coincident, since his last name started with a K and mine with a L) and having the other kid I was dating in the audience, who is my husband today. Very complicated, one of those stories that totally reminds me of Bella, Edward and Jacobs' relationship. I know cheesy, but I can't help but think of that. I chose my Jacob! I think that's why I am a Jacob fan :) I remember Brent coming down to meet me after, (that's when that pic was taken) and Zac feeling awkward, but he went to go talk to some other friends. I did hang out with Zac that night and Brent knew it! Funny huh? I was such a brat to both of them, I'm suprized Brent stayed with me through all that.

26. What was your worst date? I was asked to go to Junior Prom at Mountain Crest High, in Hyrum so I went. After the dance, on our way back, his Jeep ran out of gas on the highway and we had to walk to a gas station in dresses and high heels, and we got something at the gas station for dinner! That sucked bad!

Snow Days

Gotta love playing in the snow!

Frosty George is his name!
My friend Kristin gave us this snowman kit for Christmas. It has everything you need to put on a Snowman. All the pieces are plastic, except the hat and the sticks for arms. the peices have parts to stick in the Snowman so they will stay. So fun!

The kids love looking out the window and seeing Frosty George waving at them :) I think he looks like he's dancing the way his arms are out.

Holidays

Tyson got a bike for Christmas! He was so happy :)

Also, a Transformer and Iron monger. He has to sleep with them. I don't know about you but I don't think that would be very comfortable rolling over a hard toys like that, but he won't sleep without them.

Brayden, loving his Transformer, 'Bumble Bee', and Iron Man. He also got a Little Tyke Laptop. Notice that Brayden has the good guys and Tyson, the bad guys :)

Brayden, at my Grandpa and Linda's house for a Christmas party.

Me and my cute Aunts! The one on my right (Dad's sister) I hadn't seen in like 10 yrs! It was so fun :)

Tyson and his cousin Kanyon playing away, at my Parent's, on New Years Day

Cute boys

Brayden and his cousin Ike playing with the doll house. Whatever keeps them happy!
We had a fun holiday season. I loved seeing family, eating yummy food and playing games. I can't believe it's year 2010! Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas!

December has been a busy month for us, along with everybody else! My B-day was the 6th. It landed on a Sunday this year, so we celebrated the day before. We went to Brent's work party at the Coppermill with our friends, Tyson and Jessica. Then we saw a movie after, "Everybody's Fine" Kind of a depressing movie, but makes you appreciate your family alot! Then Sunday we enjoyed going to a friend's baby blessing and went to my Mom's for dinner and cake and icecream :)
Brayden's B-day was Saturday the 19th. 4 years old! Friday we went to the Fun Park to play with friends and cousins. Saturday we went to see Santa at the mall. Tyson ran right up to him, arms out. But Brayden was really shy; he wouldn't say anything. Then my mom watched Tyson while we took Brayden to see The Christmas Carol, kinda scary for him, but he fell asleep.

The best part of making a cake!

....... and can't forget this guy. Love ya Tys! I hope you all have fun Holidays! :)

Crafts and such....

We made these Apple Turkeys with the kids I work with. They are so fun and way easy :)
If you can't tell, the one on the right is on his belly, dead. My favorite is the legs sticking out. Hee hee hee
I did Super Saturday a couple weeks ago and this is what I made. I was so excited, because I have wanted to do an FHE board for a while.

I also made the Temple block. The Puppy Dog Tail blocks I made last year.

And New Moon! I went the Saturday they opened with work friends, a couple neighbors and my Sis. in law. So fun! Loved it, much better than Twilight!

So Thankful.....

I really do love Thanksgiving! I feel that it is always rushed.... everyone can't wait for Christmas! Yes, Christmas is very exciting, but we've got to be Thankful first. :) I am so thankful for my 2 beautiful boys and a wonderful, loving, hard working Husband. I am so thankful for the jobs we have and the money we do recieve. I am so thankful for the Gospel in my life and for the knowledge I do have of the Savior and our Father in Heaven. I am so thankful for our beautiful house we have to live in and for friends who listen and care.
I am also thankful for the small things like how the sellers of our house left drapes on the windows.
.... and thankful for the swing set they left for us to enjoy (or left so they didn't have to move it)

I am thankful for a backyard that my kids can run, play and explore in.

I am thankful for technology

...... and a playroom for my boys to play in.

I am thankful for neices and nephews and that I got to have one of them stay with us for a night, bringing her PS with her. My boys loved it, but I know I don't want to buy one, cuz I wouldn't be able to get them off of it!

I am thankful for times like these, when I find my kids doing cute things. You think you're going to be a rock star Tyson? :)
I am thankful for the mind of a 3 almost 4 year old when he (Brayden) says things like, "I broke my ear, it's broken!" when he had an ear infection. Or when he saw snow for the first time this year, saying, "See, it's time for Christmas now!" Or hearing one of the Apostles talk about the Holy Ghost, saying, "Holy Ghost.... scarey!"
There is so much to be thankful for in our lives! Are we focusing on all the bad things that happen or the things we don't have? Even if you don't have a house, a job, children, an education(decided not to take that route), a bed set (which I want, but may not get for a while). All we need to do is do the best we can and be grateful for what we do have. I know all of you can name 100 things you are grateful for! We might have some of the same things to be grateful for or different things. We all succeed in different ways and we all have different gifts and talents to be grateful for. I am so grateful for music and the ability I have to sing. There is so much to be thankful for, it's hard to name them all! I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving, and please remember to be thankful! :)

Kitty George

We got a kitty a few weeks ago, and we love him!
A nurse I work with had said they were trying to get rid of one more cat, so we took him. I didn't know for sure if I was ready for a pet so soon after we moved, but we decided to go for it.
This is his new favorite place to be.
He started falling asleep up there once and almost fell off!
Brayden just loves the kitty.
He is the one who officially named him Kitty George, after Curious George. First he wanted to name him Superman. I liked Kitty George :)
The kitty is mostly an indoor cat, but lives in the garage. His litter box, food, and bed are in there, but he spends alot of time in the house. We just take him out every few hours, and he hasn't ever had an accident! He even meows when he needs to go out and when he wants back in. What a good kitty!
Tyson always wants to hold Kitty George, but Kitty George doesn't always want to be held! (by him at least) We have to remind him (and Brayden) to be nice to the kitty.
Enjoying the moment
Kitty George is trying to get you!
Asleep at last.....

My favorite is to snuggle with him when my kids are asleep. He is so cute! One time he was all up in my hair purring and licking it. I just thought, "Yes, Kitty I am your Momma" I know, cheezy :) It has been so fun having him around.

Halloween/ B-day party

The Saturday before Halloween was Tyson's 2nd B-day!!! We had a party with our family. We missed you Holly
Me and Joann (sis. in law)

Tyson and his cousin Jake are 5 days apart so we celebrate their B-days together :)

Buzz and Superman save the day!!
Birthday boys opening presents
Oooo, a motorcycle from Grandma.

And.......

Poor Tyson cut his chin open last week. I was ready to take him in to get stiches, but Brent said it wasn't that bad. It did stop bleeding, plus he had a well child care check up the next day, so we decided to wait. The Doc. said he could have used a couple stiches, but wasn't too concerned. It had already started to heal itself, and he said you can only get stiches up until 24 hrs after the accident. If it was on his face, other than his chin I would have took him in.
Now, we just have to make sure it stays clean and try and keep a bandaide on it. That's a joke. what 2 year old is going to keep a band aide on? So a few days later, he bumped it and broke it open again. Now we make sure he has a band aide on it and get mad at him if he takes it off. he is doing pretty good to keep it on now :)
