To start off this fun filled day, my sister-in-laws and I ran a 5k race. I was so excited because this was my best 5k I've done. Time: 26 min and 29 sec.
I got 1st place in my age group and was 2nd overall female to finish! My sister in-law got 2nd in our age group :) Ya, we're cool like that.
They had little kiddie races and this was Brayden's first race! He was so excited to run like Mommy. Before the race:

They had to run to the stop sign! next year he'll be 5 so he gets to run to the stop sign and back :) It was so funny to see all the parents running with the kids, cheering them on.

Brent played in the Horse Shoe Tournament with his brother. They got 3rd place
Brent is 28 yrs. young today! Happy Birthday Brent! He borrowed Rock Band from one of his friends, so we enjoyed playing that. I've gotta say, I'm pretty good on the drums. (on easy mode) Also got 100% on the singing a couple times, on medium mode. I love this game! Then we went and saw the movie, Despicable Me. Pretty funny and cute! Came home and made a cake, thought I ruined it cuz I put 3 1/3 cups of water, instead of 1 1/3 big difference! I was so mad, but then I added more sugar, flour, another egg and a few other things and it turned out very yummy! We had alot of batter so we made a cake and cupcakes. MmmmmI had my sister-in-law make Brent a Raiders quilt for his B-day, to hang up downstairs. I was nervous he was gonna be mad at me, cuz I used the Raiders logo from one of his old coats that he never wore. So the coat is gone, but we have an awesome quilt from it! He actually liked it and didn't mind that we ruined his coat. I'll post pics once I get it hung on the wall.

Congrats on your fast time! How fun that you were able to run with your family. I love that the kids are running now too. I don't know how you did everything and I never ran into you. Oh well, glad you had a great time with your family celebrating on the 24th!
