He was so excited he got Batman for his Birthday, what he's also being for Halloween! We also got him one of the Batman cartoon episodes, that he and Brayden love.

Grandparents gave him a nerf shooting gun, and a pop-up basketball/bean bag toss net. Tyson felt so special. I just love this little guy! I can't help but squish him! Happy Birthday my sweetie magoo!

News: Bad? Good? Who knows?

A couple weeks ago I had a miscarriage. It all happened so fast. We got off birth control in July, got pregnant in August and micarried in September! We weren't expecting to be pregnant so fast, so when my period didn't start I wondered if I was. I took a test and sure enough, I was! I was excited, but yet it just didn't feel real. It just felt off to me and I didn't know why. For some reason I had thoughts of possibly miscarrying, even though I surely didn't want that. When I started spotting on a Mon. night I called my doctor the next morning. The nurse said it was sometimes normal for Women to spot, especially in the first months. I never spotted with my others, but maybe this was different? She still got me in to see my doctor that afternoon. I just had a feeling I was miscarrying, so I had it in my mind that if I found out that I was, it was going to be okay. My doctor did a vaginal ultra sound, because he couldn't see anything over top. The sack measured about 5 weeks, but the weird thing was that there was nothing inside the sack. It was a little oval shaped thing, about an inch long. He said it looked like I started miscarrying way early, and that the sack was close to the cervix, getting ready to pass. Okay, it's okay, I was prepared for this, it's okay. And I really was okay. They took my blood and wanted me to come back a couple days later. In those couple days, I had the worst cramps ever! At first it felt like a very hard menstrual period, but then became more like labor pains. I took extra IB Prophen and still went to work. I'm fine, is what I always tell myself. I can handle this. Even with 4 IB Prophen in me I could still feel it and I was only at work for 15 min. when I really needed to get to the bathroom. TMI moment: I felt some fleshy stuff down in the area and once I sat down on the toilet out came a big ol' plop of tissue and blood. Well, that was it! Then I went back to work feeling normal! thank goodness that was over! I went back to the Doc that afternoon and he said everything looked good, my blood levels of pregancy hormone dropped a ton and that means my body was miscarrying properly. As soon as I knew I was miscarrying I prayed and prayed that I would pass this without any complications. I was worried about having sugery (DNC, whatever that stands for) cuz my sister had to have that 3 times, cuz she wasn't passing her babies. Before going to that, they give you some meds to help pass the baby, but I didn't even need that! I passed it quickly and safely, and I am so grateful for that! Thank you, thank you thank you, is all I can say. Ending on a good note, we can try again in a couple months! I really do feel blessed. I know either, it wasn't the right time, or there was something wrong with the baby and it stopped growing, and I'm grateful for that. Brent and I are so blessed to have 2 healthy, beautiful boys now, and can't wait to add another one into the family, on the Lords time.

Womens Conference

I was able to go to Womens Conference yesterday in Salt Lake with my Mother-in-law and sister-in-laws. It was an all day thing. We left around 11am drove to Bountiful and ate at Sizzler. Then we went to South Town Mall and did some shopping. I got alot of cute things for my boys at a store called Crazy 8s. Never shopped there before and I loved it! Then we walked around a bit at Temple Square, then went to the Conference.

Us at the mall.
Brent's mom and sister are in the middle and the rest of us (blondes) married the brothers :)
Us at Temple Square.

After the Conference, we went to the Gateway Mall, ate dinner at Rumbi Grill and got some yummy carmeled apples and chocolate from the chocolate factory. Delicious!!

My favorite part about the conference was Pres. Monson's talk. "If you judge people, you have no time to love them." Judge Not! It is so hard not to judge people by they way they look, talk or what they wear, or how they do things. This has helped me to be more aware of how I see people and I have no room to talk about the negative things I see of people, because for all I know I have judged and am so wrong!

It was nice to go hang out with my in-laws and I am so grateful I got to go. Brent got to take care of the kids all day! Thanks Brent, Love you!

Lost Pets/ New Ones

Goodbye Kitty George! A few months ago our kitty ran away :(
So we decided to get new ones! My friend, that gave us the first one, said she had more kittens to give away. The boys were so excited!
Which one, which one...... how about 2!!

Cute Kitties!

The chosen ones:
The black one was a little scared and took a while to warm up.

The gray one, was so calm right at the first, so cute!

The boys chose their names: Iron man (black one)

and Iron Monger!

Where oh where has our little dog gone, oh where oh where can he be?
Our poor little puppy dog ran away a couple weeks ago. We were having him dog watched, at my in-laws, while we went to Lagoon and he pulled himself out of his collar. I think it was just meant to be. He was a bad dog, for the most part. He was taking along time to train and was constantly jumping and biting. What made me even more mad is when he would knock my kids over and chew on them! I'd get so mad at him. Koopa was always digging huge holes in our yard, and, of course, crapping everywhere! It was alot to handle with 2 kitties and a dog, plus my boys, the house work, and everything else. It was getting to be too much! So we were trying to decide if we should get rid of him anyway, but I couldn't do it. I so badly wanted to keep him and have him be a good dog. I thought if we'd give him time, it would change. He was barely 6 months old and we were going to get him fixed to see if that would calm him down, but we didn't even have to worry about it. It is a big relief that he's gone, but at the same time, it's sad.

These pics were taken a couple months ago. He was even bigger than this at 6 months!
The boys keep asking where the dog is, even though I've already told them he ran away. Once Brayden saw the empty backyard he freaked out and said "Where's our dog?!" the other day we were going for a walk and Tyson asked, "Koopa with us?" No sweetie, he ran away.

Goodbye Koopa! Hope you found a good home. And no, we are not getting another dog! Eventually, but not for a while. Phew

Anniversary Weekend!

Brent and I have been married 7 yrs! Our Anniversary was on Sunday the 8th. Brent was nice enough to get me a dozen roses w/ some purple flowers mixed in, my fav. color....... so pretty
On Saturday, we went to Bear Lake for the day to spend some time on the beach with Brent's brother, his wife and kids.

The weather wasn't that great, but we still had fun! Then on Monday we went to Lagoon, just Brent and I. It was our first time riding the Spider and Wicked, so fun! Brent was getting sick and he had to sit down after every ride! I just laughed at him, I guess he's getting old, ha ha ha. We had my Mom watch the boys over night just in case we decided to go back to Lagoon the next day. One day was good enough, so we drove back that night, slept in till 10am! We then went to breakfast and saw a movie, and did a little shopping. It was nice to actually spend some time with Brent :)

Here is the Raiders quilt I had Brent's sister make for his B-day. Cool huh?
