Lagoon!

We got to go to Lagoon with Brent's Brother and his wife, and their friends, and all our kids. This was our boys' first time and they loved it! I was still able to go on the kid rides and Rattle Snake Rapids, but I have to admit my 2 favorite rides were, the Dinosaur drop and The Odysea, with the octupus. :) It was so much fun! The kids' favorite was the Bumper cars. They did that one over and over!

Summer Time

We had a camp out at my parent's house, with my side of the family, in the backyard. Then the next day, we made a slip and slide for the kiddos. They had a blast!

11 Grand kids and the 12th is in my belly! My sis. Angela has 3, Jessica has 5, Alisha has 1, she gave up for adoption, who is not in the pic, and my 2 boys makes 11. :)

Ragnar Relay 2011

I ran in the Ragnar Relay (Wasatch Back) last month. Running from Logan to Park City, with a team of 12 people. A total of 188 miles! I was runner #7, which had easier runs. My runs were about 4 miles a piece and I ran that 3 times. My 1st run was at 1:00 pm Friday, 2nd run 10pm that night, then the 3rd was the next morning around 9am. There are 2 vans and while the other van is running, we get to rest/eat, then we swap. While runners from our van is running we pace them and switch runners at the exchanges. So even tho I ran my 2nd run at 10pm we didn't get to actually sleep until 5 in the morning, when all our runners were done running. That was the hardest part of it all, because I was my sickest then, being pregnant and all. It was tough! we got 2 1/2 hrs. of sleep, then had to get up and run again! I did get to rest in the van, while the others were running, but didn't get much sleep.
14 weeks pregnant!
I did it!!
Exchanging the slap braclet, you run with. I'm starting my last run here.
Finishing my last run strong! I passed that girl up and I heard her sprinting behind me! Intense moment :) I had the slap braclet out and ready to pass off.
My sister Alisha and I. I was on her team with the people she works with.
Finished my first run and passed off here.
2nd van peeps!
Sporting our Ragnar tattoos. We are so strong! Not! Where's my bicep? I better work on that :)
Our whole team: Strip Tease. They work at South Davis hospital and the "strip" represents the lines you see on a heart monitor :) Very creative, but when you hear what our team name is, it's like, what?Saturday morning. Our van getting ready to head out. We got to stay at a persons house for a few ours, so that was nice!
Our whole team running in with our last runner!
Me and Alisha!
2nd van peeps at the finish! Our whole teamHip hip, hooray!!We even made the Deseret News paper! You can't see me, I was at the beginning of the tunnel :)
I had a ton of fun, other than being sick! I was able to keep up a 10 min. mile and only walked for a minute on my 2nd run, up a steep hill, but other than that I ran the whole way and finished!

July Festivities

On the 4th of July we went to Willard, by Brigham City, to spend the day with my sister Angela and her family.
This was a huge water slide the kids got to go down. It was kind of scary, because the slide wasn't monitored very well. Too many kids were going down at the same time and right after I took this pic, a kid came flying down and took out Tyson. He plunged into the water head first, at the end of the slide. I ran over and had to get him out. He was thrashing around and very scared! He swallowed a little bit of water, but was fine. Brayden wanted to keep going down, so after that happened I kept yelling at the other kids to wait!
Other than that, the kids had a really good time. Here's Tyson trying to rock climb, he was a little scared, can you tell?
Tyson getting ready to rock climb.
Brayden having a turn.
He really wanted to ring the bell at the top, but once he got this far, he was done :)

Fireworks on the 3rd of July, the finale! There were about 6 of the Dad's out there, including Brent, and when they said go, they each lit a couple Fireworks. This ended with a few Aerial fireworks (the ones that shoot in the air). It was cool!
Watching the Fireworks
This is Brayden every year! He actually really likes them, he just has sensitive ears, I guess!
I love the July Festivities!
