Buist/ Worthen Reunion

In June, we had a reunion with Brent's side of the family. It was his Mom's side of the family. All her brothers and sisters, but one (6 total) were there and most of their kids and grandkids! We all camped around their house in Mendon. Some brought motor homes/ trailers and some slept in tents. We came each day and night but only camped over one night, since we live such a short distance away, we decided to head home the first night. My mother-in-law planned fun things for the kids and adults to do through out the reunion. Tonz of pics ahead!
My Mother in-law, Pam composed a song about her family growing up called, "Dancing on Daddy's Feet" Her Father has passed away and this reunion was based on the life he had with her Mom, and the memories they had growing up. Pam taught us the song and we sang it each night. So cute! The kids, waiting for their turn in the water gun duel!
Brayden and his cousin Dylan. When Grandpa starts counting, they walk away from each other and turn around on the count of 5 and shoot! Whoever gets wet first loses! It was so fun to watch.Tyson and his cousin Jaden.Tyson gets Grandpa good!
Grandma Wilma and Bruce (Pam's Mom and her husband)
Gathering around to watch the hunters.
Tyson, Brayden and Dylan watching the hunters.
This game was mainly for the adults, but the kids got to play too. One person would wear a shirt with a deer on it and would get a head start to run off. The other player had a water gun and would try and shoot the deer. If the shooter got them in the face, they had to go in the dog pen and get squirt by everyone. It was pretty funny!
All the cute kids watching the obstacle course game.
This game was for all the couples. My Mother-in-law and Father-in-law was first, to show us how it's done. The Woman had to be blind folded and the Man passanger had to tell her directions. This included, going and unlocking the gate and then finding your way back to the 4 wheeler, Going through a set of tires and around the field in between markers and back.
Brent and I taking a turn. It was alot harder than I thought it would be, but we did pretty good.
